St Peter’s Kids is our children’s expression of St Peter's Church. Where we provide a safe and engaging environment for children to learn about Jesus, build great friendships and have loads of fun in the process. St Peter's Kids exists to lead and encourage the kids in our church to live a Christ-centred life. We are so pleased to be able to offer Kids provision again. Its been a long time since we were able to meet in person, so we are beyond excited to get back in church! We will be offering a full programme for our Little Lions (3-5) and Allstars (6-11) age group from the 25th April- we will also have our family room open where children under the age of 3 can go with their parents- their will be a wide range of toys available and also a live stream to our service.

For the Next 9 weeks, St Peters Kids will be exploring what it's like to live a life for Jesus. Full with awesome games, craft, teaching and anything else we can throw into the mix, this is not to be missed. To take advantage of this, all you need to do is book your children in, this allows us to know who is coming and ensures we are compliant to government guidelines. Email office@loudwater.org to book you and your children in.

Planning your Visit

new to church website

Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, and whatever your life looks like right now, we’d love to welcome you to St Peter’s. Everyone’s invited. We meet for our Sunday service at 10am, here’s what to expect when you come:

Most of us hesitate before walking into a place full of strangers, but don't panic – you will be welcome and there's no need to take part in anything you’re not comfortable with. We all come as we are, so there's no need to dress up - wear something that makes you feel comfortable. Due to Covid-19 you will need to ensure you have a mask, unless you are exempt, and hand gel will be available on entry.

Where and When

We meet in the main Church building on the corner of Treadaway Hill and Kingsmead Road at 10am. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team, if you're unsure where to sit then our team will help you to a seat, while social distancing measures are in place our seating configuration is different to usual to ensure everyone is at a safe distance.

Plan your journey:
Our car park is quite small and on Sundays it's reserved for those who have mobility difficulties and first time guests. Additional parking is available on the Treadaway Estate opposite the church car park entrance. When making use of the parking on the business estate please only park alongside the fence-line parallel to the businesses. If parking on surrounding residential streets please be considerate as we want to be good neighbours.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up.

Our Service

Our 10am service is an informal service of contemporary worship for all the family. The service begins with a time of worship. Each week we hear a relevant message from the Bible and take time to pray together and respond to what God is saying and doing as we worship. We share in Holy Communion together every week.

What about my kids?

We have a great programme lined up for kids of all ages at St Peter's Kids:

  • The Ark (0 months to 3 years) - children using The Ark will need to be accompanied by a parent or carer.
  • Little Lions (3-5 years)
  • All Stars (5-10 years)
  • St Peter's Youth (11+ years)

Children need to be registered before 10am, so please make sure you arrive in time to check in your child. Due to COVID-19 restrictions children need to prebook their place and do not come into the main service but go straight to their relevant group. When you arrive onsite please head to the kids check in desk at the entrance to the halls, opposite the church, where our team will be ready to meet you and your child. If you want to know more about our kids groups contact mark@loudwater.org.
