SUNDAY SERVICES

Throughout the week our church family are scattered across Loudwater and the surrounding areas, showing Jesus’ love in our workplaces, neighbourhoods and homes. On Sundays, we gather together to encounter God and pursue his presence in worship, to listen to what he is saying to us about our lives and to pray for one another in response, before he sends us back out to change the world.

MIDWEEK SERVICES

Once a month we hold a more traditional service, with organ led worship. This service normally celebrates Holy Communion as well as having a time of sung worship, prayer and a short relevant message shared by one of our preachers. All our welcome, find out when our next midweek service is being held by looking at our calendar.

 FAQs

  • Our car park is quite small and on Sundays it's reserved for those who have mobility difficulties and first time guests. Additional parking is available on the Treadaway Estate opposite the church car park entrance. When making use of the parking on the business estate please only park alongside the fence-line parallel to the businesses. If parking on surrounding residential streets please be considerate as we want to be good neighbours.

  • We have a great programme lined up for kids of all ages at St Peter’s Kids and Youth.

Children ideally need to be registered before 10.30am, so please make sure you arrive in time to check in your child. When you arrive onsite please head to the kids check in desk at the entrance to the church, where our team will be ready to meet you and your child. If you want to know more about our kids or youth groups contact mark@loudwater.org.

Our services begin with a time of all age worship, after which our kids head out to their groups in the large hall. Youth stay in the service until the first block of worship has finished before heading to the top floor of the Old Vic. A creche, The Ark, is available for children under 3 years. Parents and carers are welcome to stay with their child or leave them with our wonderful St Peter’s Kids team.

  • We meet in the main Church building on the corner of Treadaway Hill and Kingsmead Road at 10.30am. Coffee is available before and after the service at the back of church.

When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team, if you're unsure where to sit then our team will help you to a seat.

  • There is wheelchair access to all of our buildings (minus the top floor of the Old Vic), and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up.

Our St Peter’s Kids groups have a dedicated Additional Needs Team. If your child has any additional needs that you’d like to discuss before you visit please contact charlotte@loudwater.org

  • Our 10.30am service is an informal service of contemporary worship for all the family. The service begins with a time of worship. Each week we hear a relevant message from the Bible and take time to pray together and respond to what God is saying and doing as we worship.

  • Holy Communion is usually celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. All those who love the Lord are welcome to receive a blessing or bread and wine.

  • Our Prayer Ministry Team would love to pray with you. Each week we make lots space to receive the Holy Spirit together and to encounter God. We may invite people forward to receive prayer ministry but please feel under no pressure to do so if you don't feel comfortable.

Prayer ministry is available at the end of our service at the back of the stage. If you would like to pray with someone outside of a Sunday then contact our Pastoral Care Team.

  • Most of us hesitate before walking into a place full of strangers, but don't panic – you will be welcome and there's no need to take part in anything you’re not comfortable with. We all come as we are, so there's no need to dress up - wear something that makes you feel comfortable.

Join us this Sunday!
