Praying for Loudwater
On Sunday 15th January we gathered to pray for Loudwater. Following Arne’s sermon in the morning on demonstrating the love of Jesus through practical help, we wanted to focus on praying for our local community.
We wanted to pray that we would be both the light in the darkness and also God’s hands and feet meeting the practical needs of our community. Having set up a virtual prayer walk with 7 lamp posts that represented different areas of Loudwater we declared God’s kingdom come in these places. Below are each of the 7 lamp post prayer points. Why not use these to help guide you as you pray for Loudwater?
Our Streets
Choose a street in Loudwater and pray for…
- Give thanks for every person who lives on the street
- Each household to come to know Jesus
- Christians on the street to be bold in their faith as they witness to their neighbours and are intentional in living out their faith
- Safety on the roads and in peoples homes
- God to help us discern the needs of the people who live there
- Those who are lonely
Can you commit to praying for the street every week this year? Could you physically visit it to pray?
